How to Use the ABV Calculator
Enter the volume and strength of the spirit, then the volume and strength of the mixer, and press Calculate ABV. The result is the strength of the combined drink.
The formula behind it
Final ABV = (quantity of pure alcohol) ÷ (total volume) × 100.
Pure alcohol = spirit volume × spirit ABV ÷ 100, plus any alcohol in the mixer.
Mixing with a non-alcoholic mixer always lowers the strength.
Free-pour measures vary, so treat the result as approximate.
